Privacy Policy

At ML Vision Technologies, we treat data privacy as part of the build. Here's how we handle information when you work with us or visit our website.

01

Our no-training promise

This is the part that matters most: we don't use your confidential business data to train public AI models.

When we build AI agents, RAG systems, or other AI solutions for you, your proprietary data, internal documents, and operational information remain under your control. Where third-party AI services are used, we use appropriate privacy and data controls and do not intentionally submit your confidential business information for public model training.

Your data stays yours.

02

What we collect

We collect two main types of information.

Website information

When you visit mlvtech.com, we may collect information about how you use the website, including pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, browser and device information, referral source, and other technical information.

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand website traffic and how visitors use our site. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies.

Where consent is required, analytics and similar tracking technologies are only activated after you give the appropriate consent through our cookie preferences.

Information you provide

If you contact us, submit a form, or book an automation audit, we may collect information such as:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Company name or website
  • Information about your business or processes
  • Information you choose to include in your message
  • Booking details and information provided through our scheduling service

Client project data

When we work together, you may give us access to your internal systems, which can include:

  • Credentials, such as API keys, database passwords, and environment variables
  • System access to CRMs, ERPs, databases, or other business applications
  • Business data needed to build your pipelines, dashboards, automations, or AI systems

We treat client project data differently from ordinary website analytics data and only access the systems and information needed to deliver the work.

03

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to enquiries and project requests
  • Schedule and conduct automation audits
  • Deliver and support client projects
  • Build and maintain data systems, dashboards, automations, and AI solutions
  • Understand how visitors use our website and improve it
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing
  • Communicate with you about services, projects, or enquiries

We don't sell your personal information.

We don't use client confidential information for unrelated purposes.

If you're ever unsure how a piece of your data is being used, just ask us. We'd genuinely rather you reach out and check than wonder about it.

04

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses essential cookies and, where permitted, optional analytics technologies.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and measure things such as how visitors find and use our website.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our pages, including things such as clicks, scrolling, and session behaviour.

We use a cookie consent mechanism to manage optional analytics technologies. Depending on your location and applicable requirements, you may be asked to accept or reject optional cookies before they are activated.

You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences through the cookie settings available on our website.

Some third-party services may also use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with their services.

05

Third-party services

We may use trusted third-party services to operate our website, communicate with visitors, schedule meetings, analyse website usage, and deliver client projects.

These may include services such as:

  • Google Analytics
  • Microsoft Clarity
  • Calendly
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
  • AI and software platforms used to deliver client projects

These providers may process information on our behalf or as part of providing their services. We aim to use appropriate privacy and security controls when working with third-party services.

06

Security

We treat security as part of the engineering, not an add-on.

Least privilege

We only access the systems and data a task actually needs.

Encryption

We use industry-standard security measures and encryption where appropriate to protect information in transit and at rest.

Your environment

Where possible, we build inside your own cloud accounts and infrastructure, so you retain control and ownership.

Credential handling

We use secure credential management and avoid storing sensitive credentials in plain text.

07

Ownership and what happens after

For client projects, you retain ownership of your business data and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the systems and code we build for you.

When a project wraps, we can hand over the relevant documentation, credentials, and project materials. We remove our access to your systems when it is no longer required.

We delete sensitive client information when it is no longer needed for the project or an ongoing service, subject to contractual, legal, accounting, or other legitimate retention requirements.

08

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to your information, you may have rights over your personal data.

These may include the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Request a copy of certain information we hold about you

If you want to exercise a privacy right or ask how we handle your information, contact us and we'll explain the process.

09

Changes to this policy

As our services and technology evolve, we may update this policy.

We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top whenever we make changes.
